Deco or Art Deco Antiques: Easton PA

Deco or Art Deco style refers to objects, furniture and architecture of the modern age. Deco style reached it's highest point in the 1920's and 1930's. Art Deco in some ways was a "style-child" of Art Nouveau, but the emphasis was on a cleaner style and on mass production. One of the first references to the phrase "Art Deco" was at the Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs Industriels et Modernes, in 1925.

At Antiques on the Square, you'll find decorative deco figurines, vintage art and prints, and cocktail shakers. Every now and then you'll find an incredible club or pub chair, or a deco bedroom set or vanity table. These items are in high demand and usually do not last long in our store.
